Did you know that every finger in your hand is connected to a planet? ~ Sri Sri

Every finger in your hand is connected to a planet. The thumb is connected to Mars. Mars stays alone.
Index finger is connected to Jupiter (Jupiter shows the path, it is the teacher). When you want to show something, you show using the index finger, this is Jupiter. The middle finger is connected to Saturn; Saturn is the servant. The ring finger is connected to the Sun; the Sun is the king. And who owns the jewels? The king, and so you put rings only on the ring finger. That’s why it’s called the ring finger. The little finger is connected to Mercury. So when you do chin mudra, what is happening? The index finger (Jupiter) and the thumb (Mars) are coming together, that is wisdom and power.earht planet

Why is the thumb connected to Mars? It is because whenever you win, what do you do? You put your thumbs up. Thumbs up is a sign of victory. When you lose what do you do? You put your thumbs down. So these gestures are so inbuilt in us.

Different planets affect different parts of your body. Your teeth is connected to Saturn. Your eyes are connected to the Sun, your cheeks are connected to Venus, forehead to Mercury, nose to Jupiter. I mean this as the connection of microcosm with the macrocosm. It is so fascinating!

Similarly, moods depend on the moon. A mood does not stay for more than two and a quarter day. That is the amount of time the moon is at one place. The moment the moon moves from that place; your mood also changes. And when the moon and Saturn combine, people get depressed. So these emotions, these feelings, they come and they go away. Nothing is permanent. No planet is permanently stationary in one place. They all move. But when you identify yourself with any one of these emotions, you get stuck. That’s when you don’t move. That is when it infiltrates into your body and you get sick, and all such things happen. Isn’t it fascinating? So what is the way? How to move on from that?venus

On a cloudy day, when a flight takes off, what does it do? It goes above the clouds, and then there is sunshine. That is what the spiritual practices are. They move us away from the Chit Akasha(the space of the mind) to the Chida Akasha(space of pure consciousness). We move beyond all the emotions.

9 planets moving through the 12 constellations brings 108 units of change. So to enhance the good effects and to reduce the malefic effects, ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ is chanted 108 times. That uplifts you, uplifts your spirit, and takes you beyond. It connects you to the Chida Akash(space of pure consciousness).

‘Vaastu Shastra’ is the ancient Indian science of architecture which governs town planning and designing of man-made structures. Among 18 Puranas, vaastu finds its reference in Matsya Purarna, Skandh Purana, Agni Purana, Garur Purana, Naarad Purana, Vaayu Purana, Varaha Purana and Bhavishya Purana.

Some other ancient text available on vastu are Vishkarma Prakash, Rajavallabh Vaastu Shastra, Vraha Sahita & Shilp Ratnam.

Vishkarma says this in VAASTU SHASTRA:
“This science is complete in itself. Happiness to the whole world it can bring. All the four benefits it bestows on you. Rightful living, money, fulfillment of desires and bliss are all available in this world itself.”

Irregular Shapes

I got a phone call saying, “My name is Dheeraj Kothari. I’m from Jhalawar Rajasthan.  I want to purchase plot for commercial and resident purpose. But plot dimensions are as a triangle. So plz suggest me.”

I suggested him that irregular sites or plot should not be purchased because these plots cannot be rectify. Avoid plots in shape of triangle, circle, oval or any irregular. Avoid purchasing smaller sites in between two bigger plots.

Health, wealth and happiness are said to evade the residents living in such a site.Irregular Shapes

Kali: The Energy of Agni, Feminine power which conquers darkness

The story of the goddess Kali is told in the Devi Mahatmya of the Markandeya Purana. She is an incarnation of the goddess Durga. Durga was created from the combined powers of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva in order to defeat the demon Mahishasura. But she is generally viewed as the consort of Shiva, because she is considered an incarnation of Shiva’s wife Parvati. (Or if you’re a follower of the Shakti sect, then you’d view Durga to be a manifestation of the same Adi Parashakti of which Shiva’s wives Shakti and Parvati were both incarnations.)

Kali: The Energy of Agni,

In any case, the story of Kali happened after Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. Once the demons Shumba and Nishumba defeated the gods in battle and took over the three worlds, so the gods went to mount Kailash to ask Durga for help. After they said a prayer to Durga, Shiva’s wife Parvati came by, and out of her body came a form of Durga known as Ambika or Kaushiki. During Ambika’s battle with the Shumba and Nishumbha’s Asura army, she was confronted by a pair of Asura generals named Chanda and Munda. To defeat them, Ambika created Kali out of her forehead, as described in this chapter of the Devi Mahatmya of the Markandeya Purana:

Thereupon Ambika became terribly angry with those foes, and her anger her countenance then became dark as ink. Out from the surface of her forehead, fierce with frown, issued suddenly Kali of terrible countenance, armed with a sword and noose. Bearing the strange skull-topped staff, decorated with a garland of skulls, clad in a tiger’s skin, very appalling owing to her emaciated flesh, with gaping mouth, fearful with her tongue lolling out, having deep-sunk reddish eyes and filling the regions of the sky with her roars, and falling upon impetuously and slaughtering the great asuras in that army, she devoured those hosts of the foes of the devas.

In brief one has to activate the kali energy in one’s self to overcome all the lust and greed which blemishes our divine soul.

ASHTA-VINAYAK

‘Ganesha’, ‘Ganpati ‘, ‘Gyanrupay’, ’Mrutyunjaya’ or ‘Vinayaka’ – he has many names.  He is the son of ‘Shiva and Shakti’.

There are many stories of Ganesh’s birth besides the one in which Shiva beheads the Vinayaka. Scriptures such as ‘Ganesha Purana’ and ‘Ganesha Upanishad’ were written in the 18th century in adoration of Ganesha, which describes as a warrior who kills demons.

Ganesha with an elephant head, ASHTA-VINAYAKcorpulent belly indicates great affluence, surrounded by abundance. He is often worshiped with the goddess Laxmi. He is associated with symbols such as rats, serpents and blades of grass, depicting ‘fertility’-As the population of rats rises rapidly, serpent slough their old skin and grass which grows back as soon as plucked in.  In the Hindu religion all auspicious works must begin with the name of “Shree Ganesha”. Lord Ganesha has infinite power which can be projected in all 1008 directions of working. When the special coded mantra with the statue of lord ‘Ganesha’ is kept in the house it becomes the symbolic solution of the problem one is facing in their life.

Pray to Lord Ganesha to remove the obstacles of one life. He is the symbol of prosperity and success.

SURYA AUR CHANDRAMA

Sun and moon are the two major sources of energy. They play a vital role in one’s natal Kundli, lifestyle and even in the Vastu of the house.SURYA

Let’s understand this. If a plot or a building is in a square or a rectangular shape, divide the plot diagonally- into two parts. First SURYA AUR CHANDRAMApart, the ‘Northeast’ is the ‘Surya’ and that on the ‘Southwest’ side is the ‘Moon’ part. While making or constructing a house the sun side should be lower, brighter and lighter, whether moon side should be higher, darker and heavier.W e should be careful about these points while building the home or official unit. If the Northeast is suppress then the owner (male) of the house will be affected or who is working like sun. If the southwest of the house is not balanced then the mother or the woman of the house will suffer mentally and physically.

Thus, this technique helps to keep a balance in all the diagonal and cardinal directions.
