the timeless sciences of Jyotish and Vastu.

Profile
Dr. Ritu Khurana is a Jyotish and Vastu consultant based in Delhi, India, working
with a simple intention: to help people find clarity and balance through Vedic wisdom.
With over two decades as an educator and more than a decade of dedicated study
in the Vedic sciences, she brings together knowledge, intuition, and practical
experience to guide individuals, families, and businesses.
Roots
Her story begins in the land of ancient Indraprastha. Mentioned in Indian literature as the capital of the Pandavas, this was once the forest region of Khandavaprastha on the banks of the Yamuna, cleared by Lord Krishna and Arjuna to raise a settlement. Modern research places it in present-day Delhi, around the Purana Qila, and it is to this very region that Dr. Ritu traces her roots.
Her ancestors migrated from Sialkot in Punjab, now in Pakistan, during the Partition of 1947, and settled here. She grew up in a joint family enriched by the confluence of many religious traditions. Her paternal lineage followed the Siddha Gorakhnath Panth, while her maternal family practiced Sikhism and took part in the life of their community Gurudwara. Through her schooling at a well-known Catholic institution, she was also exposed to Christianity, Punjabi, English, and Hindi filled the household, and her childhood was shaped by the stories of Guru Nanak, of Kabir, and of the family’s own journey from Sialkot to Delhi.
The Beginning of a Journey
Childhood Curiosity
From an early age, Dr. Ritu was spirited and creative, drawn to dance, acting, and the arts. That same creative, intuitive nature would later shape the direction of her studies.
Palmistry: The First Step
As a teenager, palmistry became her first step into this world. She taught herself to read palms through the writings of Cheiro and Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs, guided by natural intuition.
Formal Journey Begins
In 2008, she was introduced to Reiki and became associated with the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). What started as an interest gradually deepened into a lifelong commitment to Jyotish and Vastu.
